Icarus - another striking short film from Michal Socha, the animator behind Chick and Concert. It's bold, punchy, makes great use of its soundtrack, and ends with admirable brutality.
I saw this on Domantas' facebook a while ago I think. I've always been interested in the story of Icarus, it was the subject of my final animation on my foundation but this is the most brutal realisation of it I've seen. Gorgeous colours and the bit when he leaps off the cliff is electrifying! Great stuff!
