Probably my most overused script, can't live without it any more. It's like Average Vertex, but it's actually GOOD! :-O Basically, it averages the verts, but maintains the shape of the original form as best it can; instead of destroying the shape like average verts does. Download link here http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/modeling/poly-tools/c/oarelaxverts To install : Go to your Maya folder that contains your projects etc, and locate to your version number (2010, 2011 etc) in here should be 'scripts', Put the file in there. Open Maya and in the bottom left in the MEL box type "source oaRelaxVerts;". Now select some verts, and type in MEL "oaRelaxVerts;" This should now run the script. Now all you have to do is enter script editor. Find the line with oaRelaxVerts; in it, highlight it and then MMbutton drag it to your shelf. Just spam the button when you want to average verts.
