The shape of things to come? (automated extraction of 3D objects from 2D images)

Seen on Gurney Journey  It may have some bugs at the moment, but could certainly have uses in previs (the scene at the end created entirely from models extracted from photos gives a good demonstration of the potential) On the plus side, it looks like they'll need human CG'ers to fix the computer's mistakes, at least until computer vision AI catches up, so they'll still be a market for us.
