CAA Careers: 'Inside Bloomsbury Publishing for Animators and Video Editors'

Coming up on the 20th June...

Inside Bloomsbury Publishing for Animators and Video Editors

Step inside Bloomsbury headquarters as they talk openly about how they work with animators and video makers to create inspiring films about their books.

Here's what you can expect...

'In a brand new event series, Inside Bloomsbury, we open up about how we create and publish our books by inviting key members of the Bloomsbury team to talk about what they do in more detail than ever before.
In this fourth event of the series, we bring together members of our talented marketing team to talk about the way they use video content like animations, trailers and stories in their campaigns, especially on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, to engage with an author's readers and fans online.

We're delighted to have Trâm-Anh Doan, Head of Digital Marketing, joined by Anthony and Jason from Robot Ninja, a creative video collective, who are responsible for some of our most successful videos like this one. They'll be joined on stage by Rachel Wilkie, Senior Marketing Manager, who will chair the discussion and also give her own insights into commissioning thrilling trailers and exciting videos for our biggest fiction books like this one. Throughout their discussion, we will be showing real examples of videos from our campaigns.

If you're an animator or video editor who works with publishers, or aspires to do so, we hope this event will give vital information about how publishers plan their campaigns with regards to video content. More than that, how do they decide who to work with on each title and what is the process for briefing, sign-off and measuring success?
We hope you're free to join us.
