The Spielberg Oner

To all those first years who fell in love with the odd little extraterrestrial named E.T, here is some further discussion on Spielberg's camera use from Every Frame a Painting. The absence of a father is a big concept throughout the film, but more subtly, Spielberg shows action through the use of singular camera moves, also known as the oner. Enjoy!
