Tom McDowell is a production designer for Mattel – the big toy company! He works as a 2D artist on the pre-production of preschool entertainment shows. Recent work includes Bob the Builder (2015), as a concept designer for vehicles and tools. Also, Little People (2016) as a character designer. Another part of his job is working with Fisher Price (also part of Mattel) to get the most out of their toys. Prior to working on TV shows, Tom worked at a marketing agency designing toys. Tom will be joining us in the CAA Baseroom @ 5.30pm on Wednesday 28th October for some show and tell and some questions and answers. Everyone is welcome and everyone should be there!
