FAO CAA Yr 3: Reminder - Tuesday 12th/Wednesday 13th - Careers Advice Workshops

This is a reminder to our third year students that I've arranged for you some Career Advice Workshops with Jan Rowan and Andrew Day on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  You'll be tired no doubt, and just looking forward to watching Game Of Thrones or The Walking Dead, but these sessions will be very useful, so make the most of them.

Tuesday 12th May - Venue: The Xchange (The big room on the ground floor with the frosted glass windows.)

Session 1: 10.30-12.30 - Employability - What is it ? Have you got it?

Session 2: 2.00-4.00 - Personal Promotion - how to do an impressive CV and cover letter and market yourself effectively to employers.

Wednesday 13th May - CAA Baseroom / Lecture Theatre 1

Session 1 (Baseroom): 10.30-12.30 - Be your Own Boss - thinking about the pros and cons of self-employment / Freelancing.

Session 2 (Lecture Theatre 1): 2.00 - 4.00 - Professionalising Social Media*

*Andrew has requested that you set up a Twitter account in readiness for his session on Wednesday afternoon and ensure you have your smart phones with you.

Please can you ensure that everyone has seen this message - get the word out.  Many thanks.
