The Supplement- Charlie Bowater

I thought that today I would share a digital artist who has been a big inspiration of mine when it comes to braving Photoshop and the graphics tablet! It is quite unusual for me to be drawn to a more character driven artist because I have always much preferred environments however, there is something about how she paints these beautiful fantastical pieces which has always grabbed me. The main reason I think she has inspired me is because she is only a few years older than me and is self-taught yet she has been really successful, now working for design studio Atomhawk.

 

For me this makes her a great role model because she proves that we are all able to achieve what we want to so remember that next time you think you can't do it!

She has also make a couple of free tutorial videos about how she works when she paints which can be a lot of help if you're struggling to get used to the graphics tablet.
