Directed by Bruno Mangyoku and Tom Haugomat, Jean-Francois is a wistful, beautiful-looking animation. It has a real Chomet-feeling to it, with a lovely character design at its heart. I've got to be honest, while watching I couldn't help but think of this heart-breaking skit from Victoria Wood...
