pretty amazing really - I wonder what the legalities are these days about so completely being able to resurrect a dead movie star in order to sell stuff?
In terms of legality I wouldn't be surprised if this is being pushed by Bruce Lee Enterprises who acquired the rights to Lee's image from Universal in 2008/9. Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon created the licensing company in order to perpetuate and tap into his legacy. So in terms of legality I am sure this all above board.
In terms of creating a passable semblance the production company were not exactly short of reference so I would have expected it be a pretty good likeness. Any hang up in appearance may be due to the fact that we are not used to seeing Bruce in such clarity without the veil of grain etc.
They almost got away with the cardboard cut-out though you can only barely see where the stand ins head is moving behind it :D
As a Bruce Lee super-fan I'd actually say it's not too bad. Either way, it beats the cardboard cut-out they used in Game of Death...
