I'm still in shock, but it looks like a new Star Wars trilogy is on its way :D

    So the gossip was true. Who doesn't Disney own these days? *Yawn* Star Wars 7, that time has definitely gone.

    Poor George, losing his baby (or has he?). Hopefully he's goes back to making the film's he should of been doing for the past 35 years. Star Wars stole the man who made American Graffiti. Such a brilliant visual filmmaker. Shame he can't write a script :-(

    As much as I like Star Wars perhaps it's time to leave it alone and move on to other things. Culturally do we need more Star Wars?

    You can never sell enough toys and merchandise if you are a massive global company:P When the majority of the the 3 prequels were pretty sub-par in terms of plot etc. then I am worried that 3 more additions do not have many places left to hide.

    Maybe Lucas sold up because he had run out of ideas when it comes to repackaging 30 year old films. Hopefully he will go back to making films that can connect with an audience like American Graffiti and the original Star Wars, and start to look beyond the SFX.
