Hi everyone - just to let everyone know that I'm not at UCA on Monday 16th April. It's crit week, which means my days are Tues, Weds, Thurs & Friday. I'll be blog-watching here and there, so if there's anything specific you want me to look at or consider, make sure you post an '@Phil'. My expectation is everyone will be much too busy to talk to me anyway!
FAO CGAA Year 1 - Please ensure that you return your borrowed lightboxes to the baseroom first thing Monday morning. You can borrow the lightboxes over night during the final week, but they must be back in situ in the baseroom by the following morning so that everyone has access to them during 'office hours'. Please don't 'sit' on group resources - there's a bigger picture and you're all part of it.
Also - please be aware that CGAA Year 2 have their Transcription crit on Thursday 19th and many of them will be rendering using the UCA machines. I expect the community to be courteous in this respect; if a CGAA Year 2 student requires a computer for over-night rendering, please be prepared to negotiate access/usage in terms of Year 2 priority. More generally, please be sensitive to the stresses and strains of 'week 10/Semester 2' - both year one and year two students have big deadlines and substantial workloads. Keep it calm, be supportive and co-operate if and when it becomes necessary. Many thanks!
