CGAA One-A-Day: Sleeping Betty

Claude Cloutier's Sleeping Betty is laugh-out-loud funny. It's Bill Plympton meets Terry Gilliam meets Ronald Searle and it's utterly charming.  Great character designs abound - including a trunk-nosed green alien that wouldn't look out of place here.   Watch it.  Watch it again - and for all those CGAA year one students sweating over their lightboxes and wondering what the point of their labours might be - take heart and inspiration from Sleeping Betty...  Be sure to check out the short documentary in which Cloutier discusses his work.
