YEAR 3 - THE GRADUATION RING

ATTENTION ALL 3 YEARS

I thought it would be a great to make the graduation rings for all 3rd year UCA students. This is also can become a good tradition. For me these three years were significant part of my entire life. I know that papers will be forgotten and diplomas can be ditched in the basement. But the ring, especially if you won't spare money and order a really good one, can stay with you for the rest of your life. I believe we should organize this for ourselves.

I already talked to the Phil and he also agreed that this is a good idea. Let me know What do you think people ? Thank you for your attention.

  2. I think its a great idea - maybe you should speak to someone on the jewellery floor and see if it could be commissioned by a jewellery student?

  3. Jackie, you mean design(1) or the ring itself(2)?
    1 - good,
    2 - I'm a little bit skeptical about this.

    Godwin,

I'm not sure, I will find and post it. But I think, it will depend on the quality; if silver - I think 20-30gbp, if yellow gold maybe up to 60, if white gold up to 100. This counting based on actual ring prices on amazon. Maybe we can receive help from UCA administration. But I doubt it.

  8. Would be nice to have something like this to keep for after graduation, alongside all the student debt, of course. Good idea Alex.
