These textures seem to zig zag and move around, not sure why, it just suddenly started doing it. Any idea if it's something I pressed or it has corrupted? I went back until it stopped and no change. Also, I haven't been working from the video so I was wondering if I had done something wrong.
Looks like a strange "2012" glitch to me. I've seen a lot of strange ones recently...
Try exporting the model out as an .OBJ (you'll have to load the plug-in from the plug-in manager) and then re-importing it into the scene. That fixed a problem Fred had a while ago.
I'm still on 2011. If I move the items away from the from facia of the building they seem to do it less but still in sections. I don't know how to do you suggestion, but i'll have a go :) Thanks
In the viewport - View => Select Camera=> Then go to Far Clip plane and change 100.000 to 1000000.00 and near clip plane from 0.000 to 0.01 - Try those settings- it might help the tearing in your viewport.

ReplyDeleteIt's not Maya, it looks like a hardware/driver issue too me. Had this many times before; just update the drivers.
ReplyDeleteOk, thanks Jon, but what does that mean? I'm not a computer geek just yet :)
ReplyDeleteI installed new updates to my mac, but the problem is still there.
