Sounds as if you're struggling a bit! You're right, it is easy, but if you're not used to embedding stuff, then I can see how all the code etc. can intimidate.
I can't know what you're seeing when you on Scribd, so assisting you via a blog comment invites more confusion.
Why don't you pay Chrissie a visit via her blog? Chrissie has her OGR uploaded already which suggests she's got the process figured. Leave a comment there or alternatively, we can have bash at it after tomorrow's film?
Alternatively, you could leave a comment on your mentor's blog - Paul Lavey - he's a great guy, talented and knows his way around the course; his blog is:
hmmm - are you sure, when in blogger, that you tabbed between 'Compose' and 'HTML'? If you copy the embed code from Scribd into the 'Compose' window (which is the one you're most used to working in), then, yes - you will just see a lot of code and apparent mumbo-jumbo; however, if you paste embed code after switching from 'Compose' to 'HTML' and then go back to 'Compose' - you should see your Scribd document no probs...
Once you've got the visual depiction of your document, you can centre it using the text alignment controls. Let me know how you get on, but remember you don't need to make a new post if you're still struggling, leave a comment under an existing post.
Could you show after tomorrows film as i think being shown how to do it will help me get to grips with it better? and sorry for all the new posts still not 100% with blogging yet :) mike s.
