ReplyDeleteI aim to please!
ReplyDeleteI actually thought this was a brave 3D computer movie. It sits somewhere between child oriented animation (Like Disney/Pixar) and classic horror. Studios don't often take a financial risks on something like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork too.
If anyone is interested in this type of tone, I suggest checking out 'The Halloween Tree' (1993).
I keep meaning to watch this film because the art is so lovely but I always forget to get it from the library. I'll make a note to look for it and 'The Halloween Tree' this weekend! :D
ReplyDeleteI feel that this is an often overlooked CG classic, the concept for this have been knocking around for a while now and have never failed to impress, great for studying colour palette and tone.
ReplyDeleteI can't find either of these in the uni library! For shame!
ReplyDeleteI'll just have to acquire them by other means...
I have both if you want to see them Molly.
ReplyDeleteYes please Alan! That'd be great! Would it be okay if I borrow them on Tuesday? :D
