Great! Reading the synopsis is like reading the blurb of a Haruki Murakami novel. I can see his influence in many ways. The magic realist landscape and nostalgic memories are his trademarks.
ReplyDeleteI like how the character is more often than not, a small spec on the screen. A good example of an environment telling a story.
It's like the little girl (whose wearing a yellow rain coat) is the only source of happiness in the town and that's what made the robot (made out of rusty metal) come to life. Very very symbolic :)
