"Michael Kutsche is an award-winning German artist based in Los Angeles, California. He is a self taught artist who works both in traditional and digital media. His work is best described as an astoundingly lifelike depiction of parallel realities, populated by odd characters reminiscent of movies, comics but also Flemish Renaissance Painting. His unique approach of imaginative character creation has led him to become a character designer on Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”, “John Carter of Mars”, directed by Andrew Stanton and "Thor", directed by Kenneth Branagh..."

  1. few years ago, actually, just when we came to uni, he was published only on CG society...and got spoted there. just astonishing this guy is.. also, still replys to creatures like us students if you write to him nicely :D I'm simply giving him a plus! :D

  2. Watching this film again after many years, I cannot help but compare it to the stale and formulaic films that have dominated the box office in recent years. In a world crammed with media, much of the spontaneity that once used to characterize American life seems to have quietly disappeared.
