okay, I can only assume that I have the glitch where the options above the viewport disappear, since all that I have at the top of the viewport is the basic wireframe view, shaded view etc icons.

Maybe you should refresh Maya.
ReplyDelete(i.e. Save and close your project > Go to documents take out all your import folders like projects etc > delete the entire Maya folder > launch Maya again
