As Tuesday 22nd is 'visiting lecturer' day, I won't be in a position to dedicate the day to your Greenlight Interim Online Review. A number of students have already had their story ideas 'greenlit' - and what I suggest is the rest of you get your final story idea blogged this week, so I can give your proposals the nod prior to next week. Time, of course, is of the essence, and I'm keen not to slow you down. I also want to see your essay outlines - including published sources and structure. Remember the ways of the Time Machine - you're expected to build the cultural/historical context for your chosen animator (who/what influenced their work), and who/what the animator's work has gone on to influence. Put together a '@Phil/Greenlight?' post and I'll swing by your blog between now and Monday evening. Also - don't fall behind in terms of your Animation Theatre write-ups or postpone the associated Animation Timeline - these incremental tasks only become a distraction from the creative project if you let them become so. Keep on top of your weekly jobs and treat every week as if it's week 5.
