When creating a render node, such as a file (for textures) make sure to right click on the button and choose 'Create Texture' (See Image). This is a slightly hidden variation on previous versions which featured three radial buttons in plain sight.

Oh man, who would have guessed?! That's very surreptitious of them. I was unsure what the projection tab was all about-- I went along with it and continued uploading my files for the textures.

ReplyDeleteHey thank you Alan! So...the "NOrmal" would be the default and then the "stencile" or the "projection", right? Awesome, glad I found this website, I have a feeling that I am going to be here a lot. :)
