Just saw these over on I Need A Guide - artist Xia Xiawan's images built up out of lots of different layers - and thought they might chime with the CGAA community. They're like tangible Photoshop files - or the secret inner-workings of a 3D printer. They also have a VFX-ness - like CGI phantoms trapped in aspic - or even maybe something like this?!
