I just discovered this today and since the recent post about the game Outland I thought I should share it. Lume is a new point and click adventure game with characters made in 3D software and with sets entirely made from paper and cardboard. " It is designed to feel like something completely new. In fact, that’s what gets us excited when we sit down and think about designing games. Doing something which doesn't test us doesn't interest us as much. Lume has definitely been exciting -– model-making, rigging a lighting setup, HD camera work –- all of it is something new and challenging. " A complete interview with the two creators can be found here . Not only did they create Lume but they own the company State of Play , which not only makes video games but animations as well. Some of which are made for Oxfam to raise awareness of giving aid : It's really lovely stuff and I thought it is also a nice example of 2D animations made in a 3D programme.
