Omar Rayyan is one of my favourite illustrators. He describes his style as " looking to the past for inspiration and guidance from the great oil painters of the Northern Renaissance and the Romantic and Symbolist painters of the 19th century " , and whenever I look at his work I'm warmly reminded of the golden age of illustration, which featured such lovely artists as Arthur Rackham and John Bauer . If you'd like to see more of his work you can find his website here or his up-to-date Facebook page here . Lovely! :)
