I just wanted to reach out and make sure that everyone in the course was able to get in contact with me, my university email is ksengstaken@ucreative.ac.uk.  I am in Canterbury most days but if you have any questions you can talk to me after the lesson or before. Some people wanted the notes from the last session I have put them online. Thats all located on myUCA - Resources - Canterbury Resources - Digital Media - Audition. And for those of you who wanted the complete set of samples for the song I used in the lesson Simply Falling they are also on myUCA. I have been keeping track of the videos and clips I demoed on Youtube, there is a channel set up, plus there are some videos I didn't have time to showcase so feel free to check that out as well. For your inspiration a look into the work behind Wall-E and Ben Burtt, he is also the sound designer behind Star Wars.

With its emphasis on 'sound', presenting your 'soundscape' project visually can represent a challenge.  How, for example, to express a 'sonic concept'?  How to create engaging experiences of your sonic creations and likewise their creative development?  Take a look at these examples from Julien Van Wallendael's blog submission last year for guidance and inspiration! Sonic Concepts expressed as 'Word Clouds' These are Julien's three final soundscapes; note how sensitive graphic design and the addition of subtle animation  enrich the listening experience.
