Transcription Project Brief Preview: For those of you thinking of getting ahead or who like to be prepared.
The Transcription project will begin proper on 23rd January 2012 (Semester 2) however, whilst you're relaxing after filling yourself with turkey or taking a break between Christmas TV specials you might want to give a little thought to your next project.
What is a Transcription?
A 'Transcription' describes a process of interpretation from one source to another. For example, a piece of music visualised as a music video or a book being imagined as a film.
How to Start: The Recipe...
Ingredient 1) The Source:
This could be a piece of text, book, or music for example.
Ingredient 2) Your Personal Focus:
You choose which creative pipeline? For example, Charatcer Design, Animation, Digital Set Design.
Ingredient 3) Context:
What is this work for? For example, a Film or a Game.
