Sky Arts and Sky Creative are hosting a student competition to find fresh, new design talent. They are asking you to design a 10 second animation that reveals, creates or fills the word "Arts". The letterforms must be based on the logo that they supply in their download pack. They are looking for left field interpretations of Art as a concept. Show them something that surprises, delights or even shocks them. You are free to use any medium or method from stop frame animation, hand drawn cells, filmmaking and photography to 3D animation...
The winning entry will be broadcast on the Sky Art Channels and the winner will receive an on-air credit. The winner will also be eligible to complete a one-month work placement at the award winning Sky Creative department at the Sky campus in Isleworth, London. They will also feature the runners up on their online video gallery.
Go here for everything you need to know!
The competition is open to students AND recent graduates!!! Let's have a CGAA bonanza!
