Course Title for Third Years

I spoke to MPW today and he confirmed that right up untill we graduate the course will still be classed as Digital Three Dimensional Design, but when we graduate it will switch to CG Arts and Animation.

Comments

  1. Does that mean we're gonna get a graduate certificate which says 'Digital 3D design' :(
    If so that sucks!

  2. No James... that's the opposite of what it means - you'll graduate with CG Arts on your certificate...

  3. Smart move leaving the name-switch to the last moment so 'if' there's any clerical errors or the guy who knows how use Word falls in sick they won't have time to correct it... *deja-vu* :0)

But on the bright side hardly anyone bothers to even look at certificates.. Reels and personality speaker louder then clerical errors on certificates!

  4. Its just a piece of paper peeps! means nothing what the course is called, its what you have created and become through it.

  5. Very true lisa, a name is just a name. As Shakespare wrote, ''A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.'' or something like that.

  7. It's more than that guys. It's a matter of principle. 3DDD does not exist any more, and as we are on the course we by rights should switch to the title. Regardless of what we have produced.

I'm with James on this one.

  9. im sorry but i agree with the graduate seb on this. a piece of paper isnt what they will be interested in, its YOU and YOUR work that count.

  10. No need to apologise. Your opinion is just as valid as mine, or anyone else posting here. Just understand that it is important to some.

  11. If all they look at is the work we made, some of us are in deep shit. Don't be retarded. It matters.
