Okay - it's time to purchase your £30 Meal Ticket in advance of our forthcoming adventure in Rome next year!  It's all set up for you on the online store - go here    to make your purchase.  Just to remind you then - this gets us a group meal on the night of our arrival in Rome (trust me, you'll be pleased that something is sorted after a very long day...) and another group meal on the night before we head back to the UK. Wednesday 23rd November is your second What If? Online Greenlight Review (OGR)* Your OGR is to be presented as a single Scribd presentation on your blog, beginning with your name, date, and project title. I suggest you save your documents as PDFs before uploading to Scribd, as this should mitigate against formating glitches. Your OGR presentations should be uploaded to your blogs on  Wednesday 23rd November . Written feedback will follow as a 'comment' on your OGR post. WIM OGR 2 'The Pitch' - What do you need to present? 1) Definitive influence map. 2) Final 16:9 concept art of your scene. 3) Break-down of your digital set as diagram or plan (i.e. relationship of 3D models to matte painting [what is what?] etc).  4) Key asset(s) production art (i.e. your principle structure(s), street furniture, vehicles etc.). 5) Key asset(s) as orthographs. 6) In addition, your OGR should evidence that you are up-to-date with your film reviews ...

Just a timely reminder re. the expectations around the submission of your draft dissertations tomorrow (Monday 21st).   You're required to hand-in a single hard-copy to Campus Registry between 4pm and 5pm (though you can hand-in earlier if it suits) and you're required to submit your draft via Turnitin on myUCA .  You'll find the Turnitin submission under the Dissertation unit code link.  Don't worry - Turnitin has been set up to 'not' remember your draft dissertation, which means you won't be accused of plagiarising yourself when you submit your completed dissertations in January. In terms of 'what' you should submit, I've been advising students to seek to ensure they submit at least one complete chapter that is fully representative of the finished submission : i.e. it should read and look like a polished, professionally presented work of academic writing.   This way, when I offer feedback on this chapter, it's not yet more feedback...
