The Flying
Colour Company is a visual
effects facility based in the heart
of Soho.
We are an independent company
and have established ourselves as one of the leading providers for VFX in London. We specialise
in high-endscripted drama and
film VFX for Independent and also Studio Feature
films.
In 2018,The
Flying Colour Company initiated a post
graduate recruitment campaign, whereby
we employed two trainee
artists and provided them with a Flying Colour Co training program that they
both passed. They
then went on to gain hands-on
experience and are now very much a key part of our in house artist team. Following the success of this program, we are now commencing with our 2019 post-graduate recruitment campaign.
We are looking for a number of creative individuals, for various trainee
positions. It is a great
opportunity for anyone who
wishes to become a VFX artist. You would have the chance to work alongside some of the most creative and experienced minds in
the VFX world, combined with our training
schedule you would be
able to get a head start in your VFX career. The training will take place in
our relaxed and spacious
environment on Carnaby Street, with access to
our rapidly increasing state
of the art technology.The ideal candidates should:
•Be highly
motivated, creative, hard-working
and have an excellent work ethic
•Have
an understanding of the VFX post production workflow
•Have reasonable knowledge of 2D compositing and or 3d modelling
•It would be beneficial but not essential to have experience with
Autodesk Flame & Flare or Maya and potentially
Nuke
•Be
able to excel as a collaborative team member and
support and assist the team. Day
to day tasks will include roto, tracking, paint and clean up VFX
and could potentially include assistance
in 3d modelling, lighting, texturing
and animation as well as data
management.

fill new full-time positions and invest in tomorrow’s talent; this is a genuine opportunity that we are
