FAO CAA Year 1: CGAA Toolkit : Animation : Lesson Assignments to date

I've put a post together for anybody that needs to catch up on my animation lessons with the information of the tasks that were set for each lesson.

Please go through all of your previous posts and make sure they are titled according to this system:

Lesson 01 : 23rd September 2016

Intro to Autodesk Flash - Morph
Task: Draw a self-portrait, Morph this to a Food, then to an Animal, then back to your Face
Frames:
1 = Face
25 = Food
50 = Animal
75 = Face (a copy of frame 1 - make sure this is lined up to frame 1)

Lesson 02 : 30th September 2016

2 'Coins' & 3 Pendulums
1st Coin : Evenly spaced from frame 1 - 24 then back again
2nd Coin : Ease-in and ease-out spacing from frame 1 - 24 then back again
1st Pendulum : Animated on a straight line to show 'wrong' animation
2nd Pendulum : Evenly spaced on a curve
3rd Pendulum : Ease-in and ease-out on a curve

Homework : Research and interpret the 12 Principles of Animation in your own words

Lesson 03 : 7th October 2016

4 x Bouncing Balls
1st Ball : Cartoon bouncing ball across the screen
2nd Ball : Vertical Drop Ping-pong ball (realistic properties)
3rd Ball : Vertical Drop Tennis ball (realistic properties)
4th Ball : Vertical Drop Bowling ball (realistic properties)

3 Different Characters made from bouncing balls with things added, eg. Long ears, tail, legs, hair, etc.

Halloween themed animation with bouncing characters - use Flash & Photoshop to make assets and scene plates

Lesson 06 : 11th November 2016

Anatomy of a walk cycle - a complete human walk cycle looped to play back multiple times

Lesson 07 : 18th November 2016

Research and make a run cycle - looped to play back multiple times

Lesson 08 : 25th November 2016

Silly Walk -
Film reference, break the information down on paper and then re-interpret it into Flash.

Lesson 09 : 2nd December 2016

2 x animations : 1 x jump, 1 x throwing a ball - to show anticipation
Film reference, break the information down on paper and then re-interpret it into Flash.

Lesson 10 : 9th December 2016

Christmas themed animations - 4 Legged animal walk cycle with christmas scene and assets.
