Ok if that doesn't work go to the rendering menu, lighting/shading, light linking editer, light-centric and diconnect the cookie jar geometry from 'mentalrayIbl1'
I think the first idea may have worked, I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time but I imported the file, turned off primary visibility (which seemed to have a result unlike last time) and visible in reflections and refractions. Thank you for the advice (FIngers crossed it stays fixed)
You need to got into the render stats of the HDR dome and turn off visible in reflections and refractions.

ReplyDeleteLook for 'mentalrayIbl1' in the outliner (unless you renamed it) and then go to the 'mentalrayIblShape1' node.
