@Alan Turnaround Problem

I ran into a problem on my turnaround where the hdrmap used as a light is visible in the cookie jar when its suppose to be invisible.

How do I stop the Hdr-map from appearing in the cookie jar?

Thanks

  1. You need to got into the render stats of the HDR dome and turn off visible in reflections and refractions.

  3. Look for 'mentalrayIbl1' in the outliner (unless you renamed it) and then go to the 'mentalrayIblShape1' node.

  5. Ok if that doesn't work go to the rendering menu, lighting/shading, light linking editer, light-centric and diconnect the cookie jar geometry from 'mentalrayIbl1'

  7. I think the first idea may have worked, I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time but I imported the file, turned off primary visibility (which seemed to have a result unlike last time) and visible in reflections and refractions.
    Thank you for the advice (FIngers crossed it stays fixed)
