Also - not sure I explained myself too well at the briefing re. the reviews of the various animations I'll be showing you as part of the 'Animation Theatre' programme. Put more simply, your focus should be on the animator if I'm just showing excerpts from their work (as was the case today), with the various animations screened being used to exemplify their style, approach, influence etc. You still need to treat these write-ups 'formally' (i.e. inclusion of stills, use of quotes and Harvard etc.). If I'm showing a full-length animation, treat it as a film review as you've done so before. Your write-ups of animators and animations can be used as components in your 'Animation Timeline' - and by 'timeline', you can either pepper your blog with individual posts labeled 'Animation TImeline' - or, conversely, create a single post that you edit continually to include new material. It's the content and context and overview that is important - not the means of execution and think of it as a long-term resource.
Ok Thanks Phil :)
