One-A-Day: Night of All Fears for the B-Movie CGChallenge.

The Night of All Fears, much like what second years had done not so long time ago, is a trailer created for a B-Movie CGChallenge. The team which consisted out of 4 people managed to produce something that amazed themselves at the end of it. All of this was created in their free time as well (!).

Cyril Corallo, the director of the team, discusses the preproduction and its role in this project:

"My first task was to create the storyboards for the scenes on sheets of paper so that I could move them around and remove them as needed... Once I was satisfied and had all the scenes we needed,I began the task of creating an animatic"

The group of artists haven't overlooked the importance of animatic:

"We had decided that we would only participate in the contest if we could create something interesting with this animatic"

More of behind the scenes can be seen here:

  1. That 'making of' is great. I'm surprised it was all done in Photoshop and After Effects.

  2. Oh wow! That was awesome! I love the style and the fact that it was funny but the bit at the end with the empty bedroom was genuinely creepy. Thanks Jolanta! :D
